Lilli in Australia

Yes, you’re right: this is the homepage of Lilian in the land of Kangaroos, Koalas and the lot! Rather than telling you all the long stories about what happened since I arrived in Australia, I use this site as a platform to publish all the heaps of photos I took during my stay. It’s an easy way to show them to all of you. Just click yourself through the page to be up to date with “Lil in OZ” :-) …(more under post “G’day mate!”)

Jenolan Caves - Big Holidays

The Jenolan Caves are a spectacular series of limestone caves that are regarded as one of the world's best and lie 45 km to the southwest of Katoomba. They have been discovered in 1838 with some parts still unexplored. So far more than 300 undergroud rooms have been found. There are nine caves you can visit by a guided tour.
Each tour lasting 1-2 hours we managed to see two of them: the Chifley Cave and the Lucas Cave (December 30).
However, all caves, for sure, offer beautiful stalagmites and stalactites.
